Premium Chenab Sand is well-selected sand from Chenab suitable for construction projects where the mortar consistency, bonding, and surface appearance are important issues. Because of its fine-to-medium grain, it is an excellent choice for quality masonry uses and is suitable for fine finishing use.

The sand can be utilized in mortar for bricklaying, wall plastering, and bedding for tiles, floor screeds, and decorative finishes. It has a good balance to make a workable mix, easy to spread, and cleaner joints with the required amount of water.

In a premium batch, there should be a relatively low amount of any clay lumps as well as relatively low organic content and other unwanted silt. Mixing should then be preceded by moisture and cleanliness testing, which influence cement use, the strength of the mortar, and resultant surface.
